The United States Is Considering Banning Social Media Apps, Including Tik Tok

U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo says he is considering banning Chinese social media apps, including Tik Tok, while Tik Tok has announced a halt to app operations in Hong Kong.
US Secretary of State said in an interview with US media that a ban on social media apps, including Tik Tok, was under consideration.
Earlier, US officials had expressed concern about the data handling of Tik Tok users.
On the other hand, Tik Tok says that it has been decided to stop the app operation after the recent incidents in Hong Kong.
It should be noted that China has recently enacted a new National Security Act in Hong Kong.
